1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Alicia S. Tattoos. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of our tattoo services.

2. Services Provided

Alicia S. Tattoos provides professional tattoo artistry services, including:

• Custom tattoo design and consultation
• Black & grey realism tattooing
• Creative portrait work
• Nature and floral designs
• Large-scale narrative pieces
• Geometric and spiritual designs
• Cover-up and rework services

All services are provided by Alicia S., a professional tattoo artist operating as a guest artist in Calgary, Vancouver, and other cities.

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Consultation

All clients must participate in a consultation (15-30 minutes, available by phone or in person) before booking a tattoo session. During the consultation, we will discuss your design vision, placement, and any questions you may have.

3.2 Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $300 for each day booked is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

3.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Clients must provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
• With proper notice, your deposit can be applied to a rescheduled appointment
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 48 hours) or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit
• Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future services

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Pricing depends on the size, complexity, and placement of your tattoo. Each design is unique, and we provide a personalized quote during your consultation based on your specific vision and requirements.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash
• Credit/Debit cards
• Electronic transfers (e-transfer)

Full payment is due at the completion of your tattoo session unless otherwise arranged in advance.

5. Design Process

Your custom design is created on the day of your booked tattoo appointment. We review the design together and make any changes you want in real-time to ensure it perfectly captures your vision before we begin tattooing.

While we strive to accommodate all requests, the final design must meet professional and artistic standards to ensure the best possible tattoo outcome.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1 Age Requirement

Clients must be at least 18 years of age with valid government-issued photo identification. We do not tattoo minors under any circumstances.

6.2 Health and Medical Conditions

Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect the tattooing process. Clients with certain medical conditions may be required to provide written consent from a physician.

6.3 Preparation

To ensure the best experience and results:

• Get plenty of rest the night before your appointment
• Eat a substantial meal before your session
• Stay hydrated
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment
• Wear comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the tattoo area
• Arrive on time for your scheduled appointment

7. Aftercare and Healing

Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing and the longevity of your tattoo. You will receive comprehensive aftercare instructions at the completion of your session. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in infection, scarring, or color loss.

Touch-ups: Minor touch-ups within the first 60 days are included if needed due to healing issues (not client negligence). Touch-ups required after 60 days or due to improper aftercare may incur additional fees.

8. Liability and Assumption of Risk

By receiving tattoo services from Alicia S. Tattoos, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• Tattooing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to infection, allergic reactions, scarring, and dissatisfaction with the final result
• You have been informed of the potential risks and have had the opportunity to ask questions
• You agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided
• Alicia S. Tattoos is not liable for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions or pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed
• You release Alicia S. Tattoos from any liability for adverse reactions or outcomes beyond our reasonable control

9. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

9.1 Design Ownership

All custom designs created by Alicia S. remain the intellectual property of the artist. While you have the right to wear your tattoo, the artist retains all copyright and reproduction rights to the design.

9.2 Photography and Portfolio Use

By receiving services from Alicia S. Tattoos, you grant permission for photographs of your tattoo to be used for:

• Portfolio and promotional purposes
• Social media platforms (Instagram, website, etc.)
• Marketing materials

If you prefer your tattoo not be photographed or shared, please inform us in writing before your session.

11. Conduct and Safety

We maintain a safe, professional, and respectful environment. The following behaviors are not tolerated:

• Appearing under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Disrespectful or abusive behavior toward the artist or staff
• Sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct
• Attempting to negotiate pricing during the appointment

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate an appointment without refund if any of the above behaviors occur.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alicia S. Tattoos and its artist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the artistic result, healing complications, or any other claims beyond our reasonable control.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable province.
